Red Crow Customer Service
Order at your convenience, seven days a week, through Red Crow Photography’s secure online gallery at redcrowphotography.com. When placing an international order, please select any US state and zip code except Washington State during checkout and provide your full physical mailing address in the Special Instructions box. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org if you encounter any difficulties.
Each Open Edition giclée and canvas giclée is produced at the time your order is placed. Red Crow Photography works closely with our printer to ensure that your fine art print is of the highest quality. Prints are packaged for shipment only after the giclée has “cured” to make certain that it arrives to you in excellent condition. Similarly, Photographer’s Editions are closely inspected, carefully packaged, and certificates of authenticity prepared with the same goal of high quality. As a result, orders will typically take up to two weeks to fulfill. Delivery dates may then vary depending on delivery location and carrier. E-gift certificates will usually be emailed to the recipient the same day of the order if the order was placed Monday through Friday before 12:00 noon PST. Orders for MacroPrints and other merchandise will normally be fulfilled within one to two weeks depending on the product.
To inquire about a placed order, please email email@example.com. Your inquiry will be answered as soon as possible Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. PST.
On rare occasions, a package might arrive damaged (i.e. the packing container is smashed, torn, wet, etc.). Do not open the package! Please email a photograph of the damaged unopened package to firstname.lastname@example.org. A representative will contact you as soon as possible and only then should you open the package to inspect the contents for damage. Should the contents also be damaged, we will work with you and the carrier to return the item and refill your order as quickly as possible. Red Crow Photography insures all packages for the full product value.
Giving a gift is easy through Red Crow Photography. Simply choose to ship to an alternate address and your purchase will go directly to any address you designate, along with a personalized message printed on a Red Crow postcard.
Gift wrapping is available on products such as MacroPrints, books, and calendars. Simply select “Gift Wrap” when you order and we will wrap your gift in a rich red paper with silver and black ribbon. (Gift wrapping is not available for giclée prints, canvas giclées, and photographer’s editions.) There is a US $6.00 charge for gift wrapping.
E-Gift Certificates If you would like to leave the selection of a fine art print to your gift recipient, our gift certificates are a perfect choice. Red Crow Photography gift certificates may be purchased in any amount and may be used for any of our products. Gift certificates are emailed to the recipient. Red Crow Photography will maintain records of remaining balances for partially redeemed gift certificates. If a purchase exceeds the value of the gift certificate, payment of the difference will be required. Contact email@example.com for any questions on redeeming gift certificates.
Open Edition giclées and canvas giclées (pronounced “zhee-clay”) are available in numerous sizes with an unlimited print run. These fine art prints conform to the highest quality standards. Each Open Edition includes the artist’s signature. Open Edition giclées make a beautiful addition to your fine art collection. Open Editions are priced lower than photographer’s editions due to the unlimited number of prints available.
Photographer’s Editions include a high quality giclée of an image that holds special meaning for Sandra, accompanied by a personally written story of her experience while in the field and thoughts about nature. Both the print and the essay are signed by Sandra and are matched together by a unique serial number along with the Red Crow seal. Presented in an attractive portfolio, the essay may be displayed next to the art so that friends and family may share in the story of the image. Photographer’s Editions make a special addition to your fine art collection.
Red Crow Photography reserves the right to make the images used in Photographer’s Editions available as Open Editions. However, Open Edition prints will never be offered for sale accompanied by the artist’s signed narrative with serialized numbering.
Sandra Brierley and Red Crow Photography reserve all rights to the image and narrative included with Photographer’s Editions, which are copyrighted and may not be reproduced or used without without prior permission of the photographer/author. Sandra Brierley and Red Crow Photography reserves the right to publish the narrative (or any edited form of the narrative) in books or in any other media at any time.
Giclée prints are made using the highest quality printing process currently available in the industry. They are produced using large format professional ink jet printers. With digital precision, archival inks are sprayed onto superior quality paper or canvas to create vividly colored, smoothly textured and dramatically detailed fine art prints.
Fine art giclées offered through Red Crow Photography are printed on superior grade Hahnemhle FineArt PhotoRag Pearl 100% pure cotton paper. Hahnemhle FineArt PhotoRag Pearl acid free paper is extremely age resistant and conforms to the highest conservation standards. The pearl coating on Hahnemhle FineArt PhotoRag Pearl natural white paper gives images a three dimensional appearance and the feel of the paper further provides a delightful tactile experience. The result is a beautifully detailed and vibrantly colored print that will bring your image of nature to life.
Canvas giclées offered through Red Crow Photography are printed on Epson Exhibition Canvas Satin acid free textured canvas for museum quality results. The semi-gloss satin surface of this cotton-poly blend canvas brings out the rich color and vivid detail of your nature image. Canvas giclées may be printed with the image only or with mirror wrapping for an additional fee. Image only canvas giclées are suitable for framing with a mat or for white side borders when stretched. Mirror wrapping is a term used when an image appears on all sides of the stretched canvas. The side images are a reflection or “mirror images” of the actual image and when the canvas is stretched, presents a smooth color transition from front to sides. Red Crow Photography also offers stretching on select canvas giclée sizes for an additional fee.
Color Images on Your Computer
Variation in computer monitors and color calibration capabilities affect the color appearance of images displayed on the web. The actual colors and brightness of fine art giclées, canvas giclées, and other products on this website may be slightly different than what you see on your monitor. Red Crow Photography offers a 30-day “no worries” refund or replacement policy on all products. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it in the same condition it was delivered within 30 days for replacement or a full refund.
Sizes are approximate and dimensions are rounded to the nearest whole number. Therefore, your print may be slightly smaller or slightly larger than noted. Matting and framing may further alter the dimensions of your print.
Your fine art print is an investment. Provided below are suggestions on caring for your print so that you may enjoy it for years to come.
As with all fine art prints, care should be taken not to touch the image itself and the print should be stored flat with a protective covering in a secure, cool, and dry place until such time as you are ready for matting and framing. If there will be a delay in matting and framing, consideration should be given to storing the print in an artist’s acid-free portfolio of suitable size.
When mounting and framing your fine art giclée, we recommend that you ask your framer about archive grade conservative museum matting and framing. Cold or hot press mounting (or use of any glue fixative) may alter the integrity of the print. Conservative museum archival mounting leaves the fine art print untouched by chemical or heat processes and will also allow you to change your framing choice in years to come.
The glass frame insert is another opportunity to protect your art print. We recommend asking your framer to show you options for glass that will guard your print against the damaging effects of sunlight.
Canvas giclée prints do not require glass protection, similar to a painting. However, you may wish to discuss application of an anti-fading UV protective clear coating with your framer or other art display professional for additional longevity.
When selecting the most advantageous place in your home or office to enjoy your fine art print, it is best to avoid direct sunlight, even with protective glass framing. Lighting with quality daylight bulbs will assist in bringing out the full richness of color and detail in your new piece of art.
Sandra Brierley and Red Crow Photography take no responsibility and incur no liability for products that have been mishandled in any manner related to or unrelated to the suggestions noted above.
MacroPrints are 5×7 reproductions of select images that are framed and ready to give. Images are printed on premium Epson photo paper and double matted in a tasteful frame* in your choice of black or brown. Choose a single image display format or select two images for display in a frame with a double windowed mat. Prices range from $39.95 – $59.95 plus shipping and handling.
*Mats and frames may vary. Not all images displayed on this website are available as MacroPrints.
Red Crow Photography offers a 30-day “no worries” refund or replacement policy on all products. If for any reason a product does not satisfy your expectations, you may return it in the same condition it was delivered within 30 days for replacement or a full refund. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance in this process.
If you discover at any time that the fine art open edition print that you purchased is not large enough for its current or new display space, Red Crow Photography offers an Upgrade Exchange program. Under the program, you may return your current print and receive a larger sized print (as available) and pay only the difference in price. Returned prints under the Upgrade Exchange program must be re-saleable, with re-saleable condition determined by Red Crow Photography. Difference in price is based on the current price structure for prints, not on the price at the time of original purchase. This program is not available for exchanging to a smaller sized print. This offer is available only for open edition fine art giclée prints and canvas giclée prints, and excludes Photographer’s Editions, MacroPrints, or other products.
Sizes noted for each image presented on Red Crow Photography’s website are those currently available. Not all images are available in all sizes. Sizes are approximate and dimensions rounded to the nearest whole number. Therefore, your print may be slightly smaller or slightly larger than noted. Matting and framing may further change the dimensions of your print. All prices are in US dollars.
